Business West has published its latest Quarterly Economic Survey in which it found 69% of businesses in the South West are concerned about economic conditions. The South West chamber of commerce, which is one of the largest in the UK, polled 301 businesses to find 62% are confident for 2024. Over the past year Business West has noted disparity in confidence levels between businesses' own prospects and their outlook for the broader UK economy.
