Technology group Sage says it is supporting almost 5,000 jobs in the North East and making a major impact on improving skills levels in the region. The North Tyneside based business, which was founded in Newcastle in 1981, commissioned the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr) to quantify its impact in the UK and understand its influence on the economy, employment and supply chain.
