Quaker Oats recalls granola bars, cereals nationwide over salmonella risk

The Quaker Oats Company said Friday that it is recalling some granola bars and granola cereals sold across the U.S. because they could be contaminated with salmonella, a potentially lethal bacterium. See here for a full list of the recalled products, which were sold in all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, Guam and Saipan, according to Quaker Oats. No other Quaker products are affected, the company said.
