2023 has been a difficult year with households coping with the toughest cost of living crisis this country has seen in 40 years. We have seen interest rate increases through the past twelve months creating extra money worries for the 800,000 homeowners with fixed-rate deals ending by 2024 and the 1.6 million whose deals will expire in the new year.
