How can we get our local economies to net zero? It’s a big question and one with no easy answers. A 2021 report from suggested the net zero transition had the potential to create 47,000 jobs in the North West by 2050 - more than in any other region. Now Liverpool City Region (LCR) debating how the region can grow by becoming a climate tech cluster, all while reaching its target to be net zero by 2040. It’s an ambitious goal.
