Paula Jack joined the NI-CO, part of economic development agency Invest NI, in 2014 and has led projects on the reform of child justice systems in Bahrain. Her work has included the establishment of a commissioner for children's rights - the first in the region. Ms Jack has also trained Bahraini judges, prosecutors and social experts focusing on children's rights and protection. She was nominated by the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, which together with the European Union, funded the projects Ms Jack worked on while in Bahrain.
